At NewScope we are available to assist and guide you at every stage of designing your new architectural project. from your initial consultation right through to the final construction phase. This is only a guide as every project is different and has its own set of unique requirements depending on the nature of the proposed development.
1. INITIAL CONSULTATION
Every new dream has a starting point. This is where a member of our design staff will meet with you for a free consultation to discuss and assist in the preparation of your design brief.
The team at NewScope have extensive experience and expertise in designing with a wide variety of architectural styles and materials and will endeavour to help you make informed and relevant decisions for your project.
2. CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
It is at this stage where we are now ready to develop your vision.
Following your design brief, our team at NewScope Building Design will develop a full set of conceptual drawings of your building project. These concept plans will include floor plan, elevations, area schedules, and basic dimensions so that you can begin to visualize the look and size of your proposed building work.
This work is then passed on to you for further analysis and approval
3. TOWN PLANNING APPLICATION
If your project requires a planning permit in conjunction with a building permit, our staff are ready to support and assist you in the preparation and submission of the application process.
It is at this stage that comprehensive documentation is developed on your behalf to support your application. Our staff are happy to liaise with council, organise required consultants and reports, and attend council hearings on your behalf in order to provide all relevant and required documentation and information necessary to obtain a planning permit.
4. BUILDING PERMIT DOCUMENTATION
Now that a concept design has been developed and finalised and a Town Planning Permit has been obtained (as required), we are ready to produce the final Working Drawing Documentation which will be used in the construction phase of your building project.
These detailed drawings can also be used by additional consultants such as engineers, energy rating assessors, and builders to assist with costing analysis and further documentation required to achieve a building permit.
